The Team

Innis Cloete

Veterinary Surgeon, practice principal

I am originally from sunny South Africa, where I did my training as well. My wife, who is also a vet, and I moved to the UK in 2000 and have both been practising here every since. Our family has grown in the last 6 years and we have 2 little girls.

We have a Bengal cat called Leo, a few chickens and a very naughty young Labrador, called Bushman. I am particulary interested in eye medicine, orthopaedics as well as poultry. I am an avid Springbok supporter and are very pleased that we beat the English in the last World Cup...

Jessica Scoffield

Veterinary Nurse

I have always wanted to work with animals, and decided to go to university to gain a degree in Veterinary Nursing. I graduated in July 2010 and have been working at the practice since June 2010. I enjoy the varied job role - you never know what direction the day will take! I am looking forward to having my own collection of pets to care for when I relocate nearer to the practice later this year.

Maria Keeley

Receptionist, Earl Soham Surgery

I have worked at the practice for almost four years. Born and raised in Suffolk, educated in London, I have travelled extensively to and in various parts of the world and had the good fortune of working on cruise liners. One of my greatest passions is my love for animals and I am lucky enough to work with them at Earl Soham Vets. I also run my own beauty therapy business working on two legged clients and four legged friends! I live near Woodbridge with my ever increasing family of pets, including cats, dogs, rabbits, ducks, chickens and Paxo, the cockerel. My interest include playing in my Samba Band, Amateur Dramatics, Theatre, Ceroc dancing and enjoying long walks in the Suffolk countryside with my Great Dane, Frankie.

Tracey Bass

Receptionist, New Road Surgery, Framlingham

I have lived in Suffolk all my life, and have worked as a receptionist for the last six years. I have two teenage sons, and a 6  year old Springer Spaniel called Holly.
